The polling place for Watonga Precinct 10 has changed, the Secretary of the Blaine County Election Board has announced.Voters in Precinct 10 formerly voted at the Watonga Church of the Nazarene, 1412 E. Russworm Dr, in Watonga.

When the Watonga School Board met Monday in regular session, one of the first orders of business was to fill the seat left empty by the resignation of Shawn Cox.Courtney Nagel was named to the seat and duly sworn in.The board then moved on other business, including the principals’ reports.

Minor children who accompany voters to their voting location are allowed. A news reporter or photographer may, while covering the election, be allowed inside the election enclosure for no more than five minutes. I hope that you all got to experience some of the local activities last week. The play at the Liberty Theatre, “ Dearly Departed” was wonderful. The cast did an amazing job, as usual, and had the audience laughing until almost in tears!
