Leading aerospace companies searching for workforce for in-demand, high-paying careers Oklahoma Aerospace Commerce Economic Services, a division of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, will host a free career fair for job seekers. Some of Oklahoma’s leading aerospace companies will host recruitment booths at the career fair to discuss open positions in the industry and provide job search tips for attendees, as well as on-the-spot interview opportunities.

Some members and friends of the Watonga First Baptist Church congregation planted this magnolia tree on a lot the church owns across Noble Avenue from its building. The tree is in memory of Avree Lake, a member, who passed away last year.

TULSA– Hillcrest HealthCare System (Hillcrest) and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma have agreed to a new, two year agreement. This new agreement, which starts on March 1, 2024, includes Hillcrest facilities and medical provider groups and will service members in Tulsa, Owasso, Claremore, Cushing, Henryetta and Pryor.

Well, shoot. The good news is I've found a way to remedy the situation of my inbox being cluttered with hundreds of emails I receive daily which has resulted in over 15,000 mostly unread missives. The bad news is I didn't mean to. Some of them are the result of my having purchased something or read something. Why does everyone want your email address every time you make the mistake of showing interest? I wish I were internet savvy enough to make up new e-mail addresses that I'd use for such occasions so I could keep my e-mail address private but I'm not. Why do some companies think it's okay to send dozens a day? Who has the time and patience to read them all? I do, but I'm not going to. Not even the ones that promise to save me money, make me rich, shave pounds off, or take stress away. So, I found a shortcut for reducing the number of e-mails which I'll reveal soon.
