In this time of change for Watonga, residents need and are seeking answers to what that change means to them.
Some have ideas they want to share with city administration. Others have concerns about city services and the costs associated with those services.
The time to air those ideas and concerns is at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29.
Head on over to Watonga City Hall, 410 W. Main, across from Harp’s and take part in the community coffee. Have some coffee and doughnuts. Meet the new city manager, Leroy Alsup, and welcome him to our town. Alsup has already proven himself tuned in to what the residents need, as evidenced by the city assisting the school with snow plowing and removal so that classes can resume as soon as possible.
And he is willing to listen to everyone and their ideas no matter how far fetched they may seem.
You can’t be part of the solution if you do not show up, and the residents have made it abundantly clear they want solutions and a way forward for the growth and prosperity of the town.
