On Tuesday, Watonga Police Chief Beth Massey formally announced her upcoming retirement. It will take effect July 10.
City Manager Leroy Alsup wrote “This announcement concludes 29 years of dedicated law enforcement service. On behalf of the city council, our staff and the residents of Watonga, I extend my deepest gratitude to Chief Massey for her dedication and service. We wish Beth the very best in the next chapter of life.”
Massey has also served with the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, as a park ranger and with the Greenfield Police Department. Her career spans more than 32 years of service.
