We got some muchneeded rain last week, but we could use more. Yards look so nice and green. The whistling ducks are back in town in the drainage ditch on the north side of 11th street between Prouty and Clarence Nash. They are interesting to watch with their long legs and orange beaks. It appears that spring is finally here! Bedding plants are available for planting and flowers will begin to bloom. How wonderful.

The following made memorial donations for Danna Taylor: Rachelle Fanning, Stan and Terri Crawford, Curtis and Liz Schenk, Yvonne Christensen, Mary May and Donna Kohl. Donna Kohl also made a memorial donation for Jacquita Bernhardt. We are so grateful that the families of these lovely ladies asked people to give memorials to the Senior Center in their memories. They were loyal members of the center and will certainly be missed.
We will host our Fun and Games Nigh on Saturday, April 25 from 6-9 p.m. Bring a snack to share with the Saturday Night Gang and play cards, dominoes, pool and hear live music!
Also, this weekend, April 24 - 26, Watonga will host its 6th Annual Bikes and BBQ Rally. It should be a fun time.
On a somber note, we will never forget April 19, 1995, the bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City—the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S, history. God bless America and Oklahoma!
