Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America by sharing the tradition of hunting with the next generation.
The Oklahoma Youth Hunting Program is looking for dedicated volunteers to mentor first-time hunters and their guardian at a special deer camp and hunt this fall. The camp and hunt will take place during the Youth Deer Gun Season, October 1618, 2026.
Volunteers are needed to help with marketing, data management, administration, guiding, deer processing/ butchering, cooking, photography, and first aid.
The Oklahoma Youth Hunting Program’s goal is to build future hunters, one trip at a time. This organization is made up of sportsmen and sportswomen dedicated to introducing 10–17-year-old non-hunters to the sport of hunting.
The volunteer training workshop will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., on July 18, 2026, at 2214 E Hwy 152, Mustang, OK.
A cooking demonstration and lunch will be provided.
