New Way to Present Oklahoma Driver’s License/ID

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahomans now have another secure and convenient way to carry and present their identity. Beginning today, eligible Android users can add their Oklahoma driver license or state ID to Google Wallet.

The launch expands digital ID access to more Oklahomans and gives customers more choice in how they securely carry and present their identity from their mobile device.

“Digital ID becomes more valuable when more Oklahomans can access it and more places are equipped to accept it,” said Diedra O’Neil, Chief Executive of Strategy and Operations. “Expanding to Google Wallet gives more Oklahomans the choice to securely carry and present their identity in a way that works for them.”

Oklahomans can present their driver license and state ID in Google Wallet at participating Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints at Tulsa International Airport, OKC Will Rogers International Airport and at more than 250 airports nationwide. They can also present their digital ID to participating businesses and organizations equipped to securely verify it.

Oklahoma digital ID is optional and works alongside a customer’s physical driver license or state ID. Customers should continue to carry their physical credential.
