Why are you running for city clerk/treasurer? What are things you hope to accomplish if elected?

I am a long term citizen of Geary and I have invested in this town. I would like to see it grow and flourish.

What particular experiences or skills have prepared you to serve as the city clerk/treasurer?

I served in the Air Force. I have a Business/Computer Certification from Chisholm Trail Technology Center, and have been a manager of a local business for over 10 years.

How do you plan to keep residents informed on the happenings of official city meetings and/or changes?

The meetings should be posted via paper notifications at the city hall. I would also like to post them at the post office and put them on the City of Geary website.

If elected, what are some steps you would take to get the city on a firmer financial footing?

As city clerk I would monitor any excess spending in the office, thoroughly vet all work orders and purchase orders that seem repetitive, and bring any issues to the city council's attention.

What are some of your favorite things about the town?

Having been raised in this town as well as raising my family here, my hope is that my grandchildren and great-grandchildren can feel the same safety and security I felt since I was a child.

Why should you be elected to be city clerk/treasurer?

Due to my military and management background I have a strong sense for duty, reliability, and accountability.
