Hi everyone! Here it is the last day of March already, It’ll soon be summer and well be complaining about the heat. I’m so glad were not getting the storms they’ve been getting to the east of us. Such horrible destruction and now heavy flooding. It’s a terrible thing. Well I was told some came in Friday to play cards before lunch. I didn’t make it in so I know how many there were. I’m sure they had a good time though. I hear the exercise class is slowly increasing. That’s wonderful. Feel free to come and join them at 9am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Its not a strenuous workout and you old do what you feel like doing. Come and join us. Our regular deliverers of meals on wheels worked for us again last week. We really do appreciate these folks. If you need a meal delivered call us before 10 am at 623- 4511. We want to thank Joyce Rogers for bringing in Best Choice bar codes. Someone brough more aluminum cans also. I noticed they had a good turnout on Thursday for biscuits and gravy. I got mine to go so I enjoyed it again on Saturday morning. They start serving around 8 am. Come in and try it or get it to go. You’ll be glad you did There were several in to quilt on Thursday. They are really making progress. Come by and see it and the one hanging on the wall. It’s a beauty. If you like to quilt there always room around the quilt. And lots of good conversation. We want to thank Pat Brewer for helping us out a couple of days last week. She has volunteered to help us out in the office work on days were shorthanded. We appreciate her. Here is our menu for the next week. Looks good! Come in, or call us before noon if you want a meal to go. On Wednesdays we eat at 11a.m. so that we can be finished before Kiwanis comes in at noon.
