Hi everyone! Here it is, the middle of April already. I hope you’ve all had a good week.
John and I left Easter afternoon and we’ve spent all week in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, his hometown. They are famous for their strawberries and they have an annual Strawberry Festival. John wanted to be there for the Festival. However, we found out when we got here they weren’t having one this year. So we've been visiting family here and eating lots of seafood. It has rained almost every day since we got here. The ground is like a wet sponge. Really soggy. We did pick up three flats of fresh strawberries today. Tomorrow we are heading home. It will be an all day trip.
I called and talked with Dorothy and got what news there was. She said Carol Ridenhour had brought in Best Choice labels. Thank you Carol. Estalene Teply and Gene Matli were in to work on the quilt. That’s good news.
Dorothy reported these were the ones that delivered meals last week. They were D’Von Poulson, Susan Shrader, Karen Dugger, Mary Brown, Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman. We are so thankful for the help of all these folks.
Here is the menu for the next several days. Call us for a meal at 623-4511.

Well, that’s it for this week folks. Hope you continue to do well and stay safe. If we make it home safely I will be here next week to report the news. Til then….
