Ferguson Market Kicks Off During Town-Wide Garage Sale

This last weekend was the town-wide garage sale and Ferguson Farmers Market. It was a great way to get out of the house and declutter. It was a fun way to go see people and get things that were affordable.

At the Ferguson Farmers Market, there were things such as a makeup stand and baked goods. It was all very affordable and everyone was very nice. It was a great opportunity to bring new events into our small town. Keeping Watonga alive while staying safe is ideally what we all want. Even though it was a little quiet this last Saturday, we hope that it can grow over the years and become an annual event in Watonga. This was necessary because we all need some human interaction every once in a while. While this was happening there was also the annual town-wide garage sale going on

The town-wide garage sale was quite a hit this year. Many people decluttered while others got what they needed. It was an affordable way to get clothes, dishes, and other items while not breaking the bank. Everyone enjoyed the amazing summer weather while they got to help out the community of Watonga. The annual townwide garage sale hasn't died down since 1990. From buying to selling, everyone looked like they were having a blast while they were doing it.

The Ferguson Museum will host two more Farmers Markets this summer on July 10 and August 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. More information on the market is on the Watonga Chamber of Commerce's website, or you can call 580-623-5069.
