WATONGA -- Every year (except last year) the Watonga Kiwanis Club sponsors a Summer Youth Program that includes swimming, bowling, and other activities. This year the program is adding art sessions every Friday morning in June for the registered kids, at the Watonga ArtWorks on Main St. The kids are learning about famous artists, some art basics, and making their own works of art. The art supplies and lessons are being provided by Phoenix Circle Foundation, a local nonprofit that works to bring arts experiences and education to our community.
