Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Have you been enjoying the nice weather lately? I hear it's supposed to continue for a while. I hope so.
These folks carried our meals on wheels for us last week. Pat Brewer, Sharon Barnes and Karen Dugger, Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Bricman. Thank you all for your help.
Judy Curtin brought in some green tomatoes, Howard Hursh brought in fresh eggs, and Linda Barrett made a monetary donation. Thank you all for your gifts.
Gene Matli and Larry and Naida Kerr all renewed their memberships. We are glad to have these folks as part of our group.
Some of the quilters came in to work on the quilt. I think it is almost done. Quilters were Naida Kerr, Estalene Teply, and Gene Matli. Diana Matli came in to visit with them.
We have our Christmas decorations put out. It all looks really pretty. Gene Matli and her husband, Bob were in to decorate the Christmas tree. They had help from their son, Rusty, and his friend, Angie. It really looks pretty. Come by and see it. We also have a beautiful nativity set put out. Joyce Lucas donated it last year. We're thankful, Joyce!
Well, I don't have a menu for the coming days. Centerpoint men came by and found a leak so they closed us for a few days til we can get it repaired. We're hoping it'll only be a few days. If you have Facebook we will let everyone know when we'll be serving meals as soon as we can. We are very sorry about the inconvenience.
That's all my news for this week. Take care. Stay well.
Til next week...
