Students in Mrs. Cowan’s seventh grade reading classes designed shirts to represent their favorite book that they read this year. Each student wrote a book talk which was read aloud while they modeled their shirt in a school fashion show. School librarians were the judges for the contest. T-shirts and art supplies were funded by a teacher grant project through the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
