What Are We Doing?
We, the people of the United States of America, are condoning the killing of our kids at our schools. Every time a mass shooting happens Republican lawmakers rush to the scene and publicly state how sorry they are and that they will pray for the families. That is all they say or do.
Republican lawmakers say that the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution prevents them from doing anything about gun laws. This is a lie. Can you buy a tank, a bazooka, or a machine gun? No. Why must you be 21 years old to buy beer or a pistol. However, you can buy an AR 15 rifle when you turn 18 years old. This makes no sense to me. How about you? The Republican lawmakers let the ban on military style weapons expire in 2004. Look at what has happened since then.
I don’t know what the magic number of kids killed by military style weapons is that will force Republican lawmakers to do something. I passed my limit with Sandy Hook. So, we will continue to kill these kids until we vote the Republicans out of office or they change their mind.
