Dayson Cash has been selected as a 2022 American Royal Agvocate. The American Royal is a non-profit organization based in Kansas City that provides opportunities for youth and adults to compete in livestock shows, Pro Rodeo and horse shows. Dayson is one of a select few students chosen from all over the country who exemplify the American Royal standards through scholarship, leadership, and school and community involvement. The Royal Agvocate program is dedicated to promoting the mission of the American Royal and selectees will be obtaining hands on experience and personal development along with advocating for the food and fiber industry. For the next year, the selected Agvocates will speak on topics related to agriculture and the American Royal, assist with American Royal events and will serve as advocates for the American Royal and the agriculture industry as a whole.
Dayson is a sophomore at Watonga High School. He is actively involved in FFA, raises and exhibits sheep and cattle and is competitive from local to national level. He currently serves as Watonga FFA Chapter Vice President, Oklahoma Junior Shorthorn Association President and Oklahoma Club Calf Association Secretary.
Dayson is the son of Don and Miranda Cash of Fay, grandson of Jack and Sheila Forney of Fay, Randy and Jane Londagin of Elk City and Lyle Cash of Laverne.
