To kick up the Halloween fun for youngsters, the Watonga Republican held a coloring contest for the littles.
The winner in age group 3-5 was Kennedy Rickey. Honorable mentions went to Jesse Reed Hightower and Kaden Hedrick.
In age group 6-9, the winner was Olivia Dunn, with honorable mentions going to James Lee Hightower and Jacob Rickey.
In age group 10-12, the winner was Keela Cowan.
“All the pages were awesome, the kiddos did great jobs and were very creative,” said newspaper general manager Kimberly Jenkins, one of the judges.
Each winner will be awarded $25 and should stop by the paper to collect their prize. Honorable mentions will receive a goodie bag.
