We ended October with a night full of fun at Trunk or Treat here at the library. So many new faces and awesome costumes! We still have a little candy left, so come by and see what's new and pick up a treat.
On Wednesday we have crochet club and would love to give anyone a chance to learn a new craft or just visit with us. We are currently making lap throws for the veterans in crochet club. Do you know a veteran that would like to be a pen pal with one of our communities’ children? The history they hold should be shared with our young people to ensure a better future and an appreciation for what sacrifices they made for our freedom.
It's November and the time of year when the leaves change color and planning for holiday festivities. Families come together to gather around the table to plan meals, trips to relatives and of course shopping. A great way to relax after a long day is reading a good book. Slip under a soft cozy blanket with a cup of cocoa and just forget about the stress of the day. I find that cuddling up with my grandsons and reading a book is always a great way to make memories to last a lifetime.
Enjoy your week, see you soon!
