Members of Watonga 4H toured the local pet groomer, Furocious Beast, owned by Darci Cash at their November meeting. Members were taught basic hair and skin routines for both dogs and cats. They learned how to wash and comb a pet, trim their nails, and dental care. They also learned the advantages to using a groomer. Different breeds of dogs require unique routines depending on their hair or fur. The meeting finished with a snack and making a dog or cat toy. Darci is a former 4H member and has utilized some skills she learned in the organization to run her business.
