The Christmas holidays are here, and we celebrated it with the community. The library gave away stockings as Santa visited with the children and their parents took pictures. It was great fun, and we still have a few stockings left if you would like to come visit the library and pick one up.
The library is growing every month as we add to our collection of books. We have a section dedicated to all new arrivals of books including large print, and the Little Library outside also carries many books that are free to take home.
As the library grows, we will have many new programs coming and we welcome any ideas and suggestions for new events in the coming year. The children thrive on family activities such as events presented by the library, schools, and the chamber of commerce. Our future as a small community is very important, we need to develop ways to interact with each other and be able to help and serve our people. Volunteering and donations help to make that happen, and businesses within the community can participate in these programs that will also promote their business too.
