TULSA –Public Service CompanyofOklahoma(PSO) presented the Watonga Fire Department with a $1,250.00 check Wednesday to help fund a critical first responder program serving northwest Oklahoma. PSO is distributing $15,000 in funding to eight first responder agencies around its North Central Energy Facilities, which includes three wind farms that produce enough energy to
power 440,000 homes. The Traverse Wind Farm is partly located in Blaine County.
“At PSO, nothing is more important than safety,” said PSO External Affairs Manager Kristi Sproul. “We are grateful to the first responders who are there when the community calls on them and are honored to support them in their service.”
