Jimie-Wray and Karla Mead are moving back to Hinton to work with the Church of Christ there. Mead graduated with a degree in Bible Studies at Oklahoma Christian University in 1991 and a Masters Degree in Bible Studies/Family Life Ministry in 2000.
He has served as a minister in Stillwater, Muskogee, Hinton and Hutchinson, Kansas. The couple has two children. Their daughter, Piper, is married, lives in Edmond and has a three-year-old son, Jude. Their son, Noah, Works in Washington D.C. for Sen. James Lankford.
Mead has been very involved in civic clubs and the Chamber of Commerce in each of the places he has served. He also serves on the National Alumni of Oklahoma Christian University. Karla Mead has worked as a school aide and paraprofessional in each of the communities in which they have served.
Both Jimie-Wray and Karla have beautiful memories of raising their family in Hinton and are looking forward to coming home.
