Scams Reported

OKLA. – Better Business Bureau Serving Central Oklahoma is advising Oklahomans to be cautious before sending personal information for potential employment.

In October of 2022, BBB noticed complaints for a business claiming to offer employment for a shipping specialist. BBB opened an investigation into the business after noticing an number of phone calls and emails reporting the business.

Applicants would find a listing on indeed.com or LinkedIn for a remote position for FB Shippers. After applying online, the applicant is contacted offering them employment.

After weeks of completing daily work assignments, employees who expect to get paid can no longer contact the business. BBB has exhausted all contact to the business: phone calls, websites, emails, and all postal mail returned to the sender.
