The article about an investigation into child abuse carried some inaccurate information. Sheriff Travis Daugherty in no way indicated any law enforcement or child protection agency failed in their duties to protect children and uphold the law. Rather, the information into the events had been gathered by multiple agencies and it took time to connect the incidents to the suspect.
OSBI, DHS and the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office are all working together to create an environment where children are safe and child predators are not.
