Johnson O’Malley School Supply and backpack distribution will be at 12-2 p.m. July 21 at the Geary ERC and 3-6 p.m. July 24 at Watonga ERC. The Geary event will be for residents of Geary, Calumet and Hinton, while the Watonga event will cover Watonga and Thomas.
From 3-6 p.m. July 25 an event will be held at Canton ERC for residents of Canton and Fairview. Students who miss the schedule may go to the JOM office in Concho Aug. 3-4.
The Cheyenne and Arapaho Johnson O’Malley Program is a federally funded program that provides supplemental assistance for the unique educational needs of individual students. Funding for the program is provided annually for all eligible Native American students who live within the nine-county service area and attend a public school or one of the Tribes Head Start Programs.
