One of the giant elm trees at the TB Ferguson Home and Museum was taken out Saturday night by the severe thunderstorms that rolled through the region. According to Blaine County Emergency Management Director Jim Shelton, the radios, computers and routers for the county were all damaged by a lightning strike and for a time, the county was dispatched by Weatherford Emergency Response. By Tuesday, the repairs were underway. As Sheriff Travis Daugherty said, “It was a crazy weekend.”
