The City of Geary extended special thanks to Carol Miller and Missy Buser for all their help in finding a Red Cross Certified lifeguard instructor to conduct training and gathering lifeguards. Without their help, the pool would not be open.
Prospective lifeguards went through rigourous Red Cross training to prepare for the summer swim season. Days and hours of operation are to be determined.
