Nitzel, Wilkinson to Wed
Macy Nitzel and Barkley Wilkinson are excited to announce their recent engagement and upcoming wedding. The engagement was made on Christmas Day, 2022. The happy couple is planning an August 5 wedding ceremony at the Boots and Chaps Event Center south of Watonga. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Tatum Nitzel of Windsor, Colorado and the granddaughter of Terry and Harriette Nitzel of Watonga. She is a 2018 graduate from Windsor High School, in Windsor, Colorado.
The prospective groom is the son of Brent and Kandy Wilkinson and grandson of the late Watonga residents Wilford and Darlene Widney and John and Glenda Wilkinson. Barkley is a 2017 graduate of Watonga High School and is employed by USG.
Following a honeymoon in Key West, Florida the couple will set up residence in Watonga.
