The local fair in Lomega is planned for Saturday, Aug. 12.
The livestock show will commence at 8 a.m. at the Lomega Show Barn near the elementary school.
The show order is sheep first, then goats, cattle and pigs, followed by showmanship from pee-wees to adults. Breakfast will be available for purchase at the show.
At 10 a.m. the races will begin at the elementary school and Bingo will be held at the high school from 4-6 p.m. Also during that time the dunk tank and bouncy house will be in operation at the high school, beginning at 4 p.m.
Entries for the pie, cake and ice cream contest are due at 4:30 p.m. and results will be announced at the 6 p.m. hamburger meal.
Cost of the hamburger meal is $10. Winners of the pie, cake and ice cream contest will receive cash prizes.
At 7 p.m., the corn hole tourney will begin. To sign up for the contest, contact an FFA officer or Mrs. Muggenborg. Registration is $20 per team or $10 per individual. Dessert contest entries will be served and/or auctioned. There is a link for entry on the fair flyers.
