Hi, everyone! I’m back! I’m really thankful to Mae Thompson for stepping up for me last week. There was no way I could get the news ready after having surgery on Thursday June 6. It all went well and I’m doing good now. I came home with 20 staples in my head. I lost a week of time so my schedule is all mixed up.
Last week Sharon Barnes, Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman delivered meals on wheels.
The quilters last week were Judy Curtin, Estalene Teply and Louise Cooper. They meet on Thursdays after biscuits and gravy and I have heard they meet some days after exercise class. They sew until about 11 a.m. There is always room for you if you are interested.
Watonga Christian Church and Yvonne Christensen donated last week in memory of John Roper and Leslie Rice.
Doug and Mollie Parham and Kevin and Sharon Brewer donated in memory of John Paul Ridenhour.
If you need a meal delivered call us before 10 a.m. I am taking advantage of this service this week and I am glad it’s available. Today is chicken strips.
If you need a meal to go call before 12:30.
Here’s our menu for the next few days: Thursday June 20Liver and onions Friday – Fried chicken Monday – Soup and chili Tuesday – Chicken fried steak Wednesday – Kiwanis meets at noon, we eat about 11 a.m.

And don’ t forget biscuits and gravy on Thursday morning beginning at 8 a.m. Come in and eat with us or get one to go for just a donation.

Stay well and take care of yourselves. ‘Til next week …
