The Blaine County Retired Educators/Employees will hold their first monthly meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 9 at the Noble House, Watonga.
President Lisa Nelson encourages past members and new retirees to join the group. Mailers have been sent out about the five scheduled meetings for the year. September 9th will be a time to “Get Acquainted” and learn about what the legislature is doing about retirees. This year’s meetings are September 9, October 14, December 9, February 10, and April 14. The luncheon is prepared by the Noble House and costs $15. There is a one-time yearly membership fee of $2.
President Nelson welcomes not only administrators and teachers to Blaine County OREA, but also secretaries, librarian assistants, paraprofessionals, and all other support staff.
