The Caddo County Retired Educators held its monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 11 at the Caddo Kiowa Technology Center. There were 45 in attendance. Many were southwest area retirees, a few active teachers, and a few superintendents from the area. Rod Boles, a teacher retirement specialist, presented the program. He put forward a slide show on the background of teacher retirement and answered questions that the group had about the program. OREA Membership Chairman Brenda Callahan was also on hand to discuss the benefits of being an OREA member. The group enjoyed a sack lunch prepared by the culinary department at Caddo Kiowa Technology Center. The next meeting for the Caddo County Retired Educators will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the Caddo Kiowa Technology Center. The program for the month will be presented by the Mountain View-Gotebo music class. The Caddo County Retired Educators invite all retired educators to join this active group. It meets the second Monday of each month at the Caddo Kiowa Technology Center in Fort Cobb.
