Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is excited to announce the inaugural Student Environmental Champions Awards, recognizing outstanding Oklahoma students for their commitment to sustainability and litter prevention.
The award ceremony will take place on March 6, 2025, at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
It will recognize students who have demonstrated a commitment to sustainability and litter prevention through KOB’s litter education programs.
In the UnCapped Contest, PreK-4th grade division, the winner is Mrs. Elizabeth Jones’ kindergarten class from Seiling Elementary.
In the 5th-6th grade division, the winner is Mrs. Britney Sullivan’s 5th grade class from Canton Schools.
Both classes will be recognized for their creative use of discarded bottle caps to create art.
