The Blaine County Retired Educators held its regular meeting on Monday, April 14 at the Noble House in Watonga. There were 46 people in attendance. This meeting honored three outstanding school employees from each of the four Blaine County schools. The 12 outstanding personnel were each presented with a stipend to reward them for all their hard work in our area schools. In other business, Kay Martin from Geary was elected as the new secretary and Bill Seitter, Watonga, agreed to serve on the Legislative committee. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, September 8 at the Noble House to kick off a new school year.
Those Blaine County professionals that were honored were: Canton- Amy Nault, Kim Murray and Penny Heath Geary-Kylie Howell, Traci Toho and Tony Louthan Okeene-Sammi Haworth, Monti Regier and Elizabeth Burghardt Watonga-Micki Urbanczyk, Bethany Parham and Lindsay Bertsch (All honorees are pictured in the attached picture with the exception of Lindsay Bertsch)
