This is a holiday week, with the July 4th holiday on Friday. The center will be closed on the 4th as will state and local government offices, all celebrating our nation’s 249th anniversary. There will be several fireworks displays, one at Huff-Lorang Park and another at Roman Nose State Park. Also, many families will be getting together for cookouts, picnics and fun! Enjoy your holiday, keep cool and be safe!

Our deliveries were made this week by Hailey Boden, Brenda and Curt Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman. Thanks to all of them.
We received a donation of squash and zucchini and craft books this week from Janet Edsall. They were welcomed by everyone.
Our quilters put a new quilt in the frame this week. It is stars on a yellow background and was purchased at an estate sale by Janice Hood. Those working on it this week were Estelene Teply, Martha White and Louise Cooper. We always have a beautiful quilt hanging on our wall for display.
We exercise Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., and all are welcome to come join us. It is hard to exercise by oneself at home, so come join us for 45 minutes of socialization and exercise!
We hope to see you at the Watonga Senior Citizens Center this week! Happy Independence Day!
