TULSA, –– Jeff Starling, Oklahoma’s Secretary of Energy and Environment, officially announced on July 1his candidacy for Attorney General of Oklahoma.
Starling is a conservative attorney, businessman and dedicated public servant with over 20 years of experience in law, energy and leadership. Starling enters the race with a commitment to uphold the rule of law, defend the Constitution, and protect Oklahoma's way of life as Attorney General.
He has defended farmers, oil and gas producers, and law enforcement officers. As a businessman and entrepreneur, Starling has managed large teams, created high-paying jobs, and positioned companies for greater success.
Starling serves as Oklahoma’s Secretary of Energy and Environment, where he is advancing the administration’s vision to unlock Oklahoma’s energy potential, fight attacks by radical environmentalists, and cut burdensome regulations.
He’s a graduate of Wake Forest University, holding a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in political science.
