Are you ready for the 48th Watonga Cheese Festival on Friday and Saturday, October 10 and 11? Well, here we are! There is lot going on: live entertainment, food vendors, crafts, parades and demonstrations, cheese food contests, cheese samples BUT most importantly on Friday, October 10, from 11a.m.- 1 p.m., we will have a chicken and noodle dinner at the Watonga Senior Citizens Center. This is a must to kick off the Cheese Festival. You can have chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, a homemade dinner roll, homemade dessert and drink for $7, or a generous donation. Dine in or carry out and then later you can have turkey legs, funnel cakes, etc. and enjoy the festival.

We eat from 11a.m. to 12:30 p.m., every day except Wednesday, when we dine from 11 a.m. to noon. Call any morning before 10 for home delivery. Our deliveries were made this week by Sharon Barnes (two days), Brenda Stein (two days) and Janice Hood. Thanks, ladies.
Louise Cooper and Martha White were quilters, and they are about to finish the yellow star quilt they are working on. It is lovely!
