We hope all of you had a chance to enjoy the Watonga Cheese Festival (and came and ate chicken and noodles with us) last weekend. The weather cooperated and everyone seemed to enjoy the festivities. We want to thank everyone for supporting our chicken and noodle dinner on Friday and a special thanks to the crew at the center who worked so hard to make it a success!

Quilters this week were Martha White and Estalene Teply. Come see the lovely quilt we have hanging at the center. It is made of many small colorful blocks in a beautiful design.
On Friday, Oct.17, the nurses from Watonga Mercy Hospital will be in the center at 9:45 a.m. for blood pressure and glucose testing. This is a free service and we hope you can come take advantage of it.
We received some welcome donations this past week from Molly Davis, Mike Russell and Mary Lee Jones. Many thanks to them.
On Saturday, Oct.11, after the Cheese Festival, we had 25 people at our semimonthly Fun and Games Night. They enjoyed cards, dominoes, pool and live music. The next Fun and Games Night will be Oct. 25.
Fall and Halloween decorations are at the center, and we would love for you to come and see them, as you eat with us. We exercise three days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., and the decorations encourage us. We look forward to seeing you at the Watonga Senior Citizens Center!
