Free Dental Clinic Coming to Enid in New Year

The Oklahoma Mission of Mercy partners are pleased to announce that its annual two-day free dental clinic will take place Friday, Feb. 6 and Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Stride Bank Center in Enid which will transform into a fully-operational dental facility with more than 1,000 dental professionals and general volunteers offering no-cost oral health services to as many patients as possible. OkMOM welcomes those who are uninsured, underinsured, or who lack regular access to dental care, regardless of age and without any identification requirements.

At the clinic, patients undergo an initial dental screening to identify their most critical needs and determine a treatment plan before they are routed to the appropriate service area. Services provided at OkMOM include cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, and some root canals and partials. There are no pre-registration requirements for patients. “Oklahoma Mission of Mercy represents the very best of what dentistry can offer—a chance to lift people up and remove barriers to the care they deserve,” said Dr. Chris Fagan, an Enid dentist, former Oklahoma Dental Association President, and 2026 OkMOM event chair. “When volunteers from every corner of our state join forces for a common purpose, we’re not just treating dental needs—we’re renewing hope and strengthening the well-being of entire families. Enid is proud to host this event, and we’re ready to make a meaningful impact together.”

“Our goal is to make sure every person who walks through those doors feels welcome and supported,” said Dr. Sydney Rogers, Enid dentist, ODA officer, and president of the ODA’s Northwest District Component. “OkMOM is a place where anyone can receive care without judgment or hesitation. We’re here to address people’s most pressing dental needs with compassion, dignity, and a genuine desire to help.” Volunteer translators who are collectively able to speak more than 20 languages including American Sign Language will be on site both days. Patient forms are also available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese and French. The OkMOM volunteer team is made up of dentists and dental students, hygienists, dental assistants, x-ray technicians, nurses and nursing students, physicians and physician assistants, pharmacists and pharmacy techs, as well as general volunteers who help with check-in and patient navigation. The OkMOM clinic is open to all ages, although patients under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Treatment will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis on both Friday, Feb. 6 and Saturday, Feb. 7. Doors open at 5:30 a.m. each day and due to high demand, attendees should plan to be on site for 6-8 hours. The number of patients treated each day will vary based on many factors, so patients are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to get in line. More patient information can be found online at okmom.org/patient-faq. 2 of 2 “Accessing regular dental care isn’t always easy in Oklahoma— whether because of cost, distance, or limited local resources,” said Dr. Justin Beasley, an Oklahoma City dentist and President of the Oklahoma Dental Foundation. “That’s why events like OkMOM matter so much. They bring together dedicated volunteers and partners who are committed to empowering patients and helping them take charge of their oral health. The difference a healthy smile can make in someone’s life is truly remarkable.”

Veterans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces may receive early entry on Friday at 7 a.m. by preregistering and being screened on Thursday, Feb. 3 at the venue at 3 p.m. More information about the veterans’ program, t okmom.org/veterans.
