Flying drones is becoming a new trend for both fun and professional use. To legally fly a drone under the FAA's Small UAS Rule (Part 107), you must obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA.
CTTC will host an FAA 107 Drone Pilot Exam Preparation Course in our Seminar Center. This course will prepare you for the FAA's 'Part 107' exam. This certification is required for all commercial S-UAS (drone) operations. The course will cover airspace rules and regulations, general small aircraft knowledge, flight safety, aeronautical charts, and more. The course will include a study guide and practice exams. The instructor is a certified remote pilot. Please note: no drones will be flown in this course.
The course is broken into two sessions. You’ll need to attend both sessions to be prepared for the exam. The course is $99 (total for both sessions) per person payable to CTTC.
