1982~2022 Cindy Arnold Latty, 40, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on August 12, 2022, after a valiant four-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (or Lou Gehrig's disease or ALS) with her husband by her side at home.

Dorothy Faye Buser

1944~2022 Dorothy Faye Buser was born April 8, 1944, to Cecil and Juanita (Thompson) Partridge in Yale, OK. She passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 78. Dorothy graduated from Kingfisher High School. She went to work at Pioneer Telephone for a short period of time. Dorothy and Joseph Buser were united in marriage November 20, 1965 at the First Baptist Church in Kingfisher. They moved to Geary and have lived in the Geary area where they raised their three boys. Dorothy’s greatest joy was spending time with her husband and their sons and their families. She enjoyed seeing her brothers and sisters and their families also. Dorothy also loved Chicago Cubs Baseball and Dallas Cowboys Football. She had her favorite players and if they were traded, she wasn’t happy about it. She was a member of the Valley Homemakers Club, and the First Christian Church.

1963~2022 Mike Barcindebar was born December 9, 1963 to L.C. Jenkins and Cecilia Judith Barcindebar in Clinton, OK. He passed away Sunday August 7, 2022, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 58. Mike graduated from Watonga High School and attended SWOSU in Weatherford and UCO in Edmond. He worked for Sonic, worked at Modular in Oklahoma City for 15 years, and various other jobs including most recently working at US Gypsum. He enjoyed playing softball, his dogs, watching westerns and sports and most of all loved being with his kids and grandkids. He was a member of the Watonga Indian Baptist Church.

Louise “Joy “ Phillips was born May 27, 1944 in Watonga, OK to Melvin and Velva Lee (McKinsey) Whitehead. She was raised by Robert and Berndeam Whitehead Huff. She was a life-long member of the First Christian Church of Watonga, OK. She was baptized as a child and graduated from Watonga High School and attended Southwestern State University in Weatherford, OK.

Susie Joyce Burnett was born 7- 29-37 at Colbert, OK to Horace and Ruth Johnson Hicks and passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 84. She was a resident of Norman, OK since 1998. She grew up in Dover and Kingfisher, OK. She married Ernest Lee (Stubby) Burnett on March 4, 1953. They moved to Watonga, OK in 1963. She worked for Pioneer Telephone Cooperative for 37 years first as an operator in Kingfisher then Head Cashier in Watonga before transferring back to Kingfisher to sell pagers which she thoroughly enjoyed. She also worked part time at the City Pharmacy in Watonga for GL Alexander. She helped open and run Stubby’s 7-11 which went on to become the first Love’s Convenience Store. After retirement, she worked with her daughter Kelli at BMI-ImageNet Consulting part time.
