Marston Duane Yearwood

1939~2022 Marston Duane Yearwood was born February 1, 1939, south of Hydro, Oklahoma to Marion B. and Cleo (Hill) Yearwood. Duane grew up on the Ghost Mound Farm south of Hydro, Oklahoma, graduating from Hydro High School, during his senior year, he served in the FFA, serving in several positions. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma State University where he participated in the ROTC programs. Duane returned to the farm in the Eakly community and has continued farming and ranching. He enjoyed hunting, loved Big Game Hunting and was on the Boone & Crockett Record Holder, Records of North America in 1973. He was published in the Colorado Outdoor Magazine with his picture, his buck and an article. Duane would contribute several articles to hunting magazines and would be published. Duane and Nina met at the Eakly Co Op in 1988 and dated and were engaged for 18 years before they were married in 2006 in Paradise Island, Bahamas. They enjoyed their cattle herd where most of their time was spent. They enjoyed traveling, hunting and going to the grandkids ballgames. He served on the Eakly Cemetery Board for many years, and a member of First Baptist Church in Eakly. He participated in the Eakly Rodeo, was a member of IPRA Association competing in team roping, was a member of the Gun Club where he enjoyed shooting. He enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports and other activities.

Dick Devon Ramer

1949~2022 Dick Devon Ramer was born on June 16, 1949 on the family farm in Watonga, OK to Leonard and Vera (Kern) Ramer. He passed away on August 15, 2022 in Watonga, OK at the age of 73. Dick grew up in Watonga and lived in Edmond for about 18 years before moving back to Watonga. He married Deborah Schoelen and they had three children together, Staci, Angela, and Devon. Deborah passed away in 1981, leaving Dick to raise their children. He later married Carol Geeslin Hightower on August 4, 1999 in Greenfield, OK. Dick worked as a meat cutter and was an ordained minister. He enjoyed ministering and he and Carol enjoyed travelling after their retirement. Dick loved his family and especially loved spending time with his kids and his grandkids.

Dorothy Faye Buser

1944~2022 Dorothy Faye Buser was born April 8, 1944, to Cecil and Juanita (Thompson) Partridge in Yale, OK. She passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 78. Dorothy graduated from Kingfisher High School. She went to work at Pioneer Telephone for a short period of time. Dorothy and Joseph Buser were united in marriage November 20, 1965 at the First Baptist Church in Kingfisher. They moved to Geary and have lived in the Geary area where they raised their three boys. Dorothy’s greatest joy was spending time with her husband and their sons and their families. She enjoyed seeing her brothers and sisters and their families also. Dorothy also loved Chicago Cubs Baseball and Dallas Cowboys Football. She had her favorite players and if they were traded, she wasn’t happy about it. She was a member of the Valley Homemakers Club, and the First Christian Church.

Mike Barcindebar

1963~2022 Mike Barcindebar was born December 9, 1963 to L.C. Jenkins and Cecilia Judith Barcindebar in Clinton, OK. He passed away Sunday August 7, 2022, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 58. Mike graduated from Watonga High School and attended SWOSU in Weatherford and UCO in Edmond. He worked for Sonic, worked at Modular in Oklahoma City for 15 years, and various other jobs including most recently working at US Gypsum. He enjoyed playing softball, his dogs, watching westerns and sports and most of all loved being with his kids and grandkids. He was a member of the Watonga Indian Baptist Church.
