This Saturday, May 6, the Friends of the Ferguson Home are hosting a tea at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church. There will be live entertainment, a reading from Mrs. Elva Ferguson’s Book “They Carried the Torch”, photo opportunities, tea and desserts.

Bonding for Grows Now Law

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Darcy Jech, RKingfisher, said he appreciates Gov. Kevin Stitt after Senate Bill 913 was signed into law Thursday. Jech is the author of the measure, which will hold medical marijuana grows accountable by requiring them to submit a bond along with their application.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) is pleased to announce its upcoming Commencement Ceremony to be held at Milam Stadium in Weatherford on Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m.

Retired Educators Meet

The Caddo County Retired Educators held its monthly meeting Monday, April 10 at the Caddo Kiowa CTC. There were 12 members present along with one guest. The April devotion was presented by Karen Mason.

Things are moving at the TB Ferguson Home. Under guidance from President Connie Burcham and Board Member at Large Todd Lafferty, as of April 18, 2023, the Friends of the Ferguson Home now has an agreement with the City of Watonga, the owner of the TB Ferguson Home.
