Hi Everyone! I sure hope you had a good thanksgiving with plenty of turkey. We’re still eating turkey at our house. I think it the freezer will get what is left. It was a short , quiet week at the Center, so there’s not a lot of news.

Santa's Magical Key

Holly and Nicholas were excited. Today was the day they got to spend the day drinking hot cocoa their favorite way – with marshmallows and chocolate chips and piled high with whipped cream. It was a once-a-year holiday treat.

Once again, it takes an Oklahoman

It would be easy enough simply to wring our hands over the political divisiveness in America today and move on. Heaven knows, most members of Congress are perfectly willing to follow that path, saluting their political parties first and standing for America only when it’s convenient.

As I come to the end of my tenure in the state Legislature, I’m not saying goodbye, but rather see you later. Even though term limits restrict me to 12 years in this office that does not mean I will stop serving the needs of people in House District 59 or in our great state of Oklahoma.

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I’ve heard we have several cases of Covid around our community. We need to continue wearing our mask and washing our hands when we are around others. I’d rather be safe than sorry. What a week we had last week. I hope you all have power on at your house.

A Look at State Questions

Two state questions will appear on the November 3 general election ballot. State Question 805 was placed on the ballot by gathering signatures from citizens; State Question 814 was referred to a vote of the people by the Oklahoma Legislature.

Hi Everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Things kinda quieted down some this week for me. Mae filled in for me one day this week. I really appreciated that. I’m just not springing back like I have before. Of course I’m a little older too. It’s been a good week at the Center.
