Lydia Lafferty scored 23 points at the Big 12 Swim and Dive Championships last month, earning Second Team honors on the All-Big 12 Team. The University of Kansas sophomore swam to a seventh-place finish in the 100 Fly and her 200 medley relay team placed fourth at the Mylan Park Aquatic Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Left: Lyrik Austin placed second as an individual at the Weatherford Middle School Golf Tournament with a 51. That score was a single stroke out of first place.

The Geary track team went to Hinton Friday to compete and came home with multiple medals. Winners included second place for the junior high boys in the 3200 relay. That team consists of Tavin Castleberry, Kevin Stell, Levi Callahan and Andrew Bates.
