Devon SportsLab Comes to Watonga

WATONGA, Okla. (May 4, 2026) — Watonga students ages 8-13 stepped into the world of sports and science during a hands-on Devon SportsLab experience hosted April 30 by Devon Energy in partnership with Engage Learning and Oklahoma State University.

Contenders

(ABOVE) Congratulations to Andrew Bates on placing fourth in the long jump and fourth in the 3200 m run at regionals. Andrew has qualified for state in the long jump and will compete Friday at 9:30 a.m.

Ride, Ranger, Ride

Canton senior Kamdyn Hulse has committed to Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva to play basketball. Her acadmic plans include studying kinesiology, then training to become a physical therapist. Congratulations, Kamdyn.
