The Geary track team went to Hinton Friday to compete and came home with multiple medals. Winners included second place for the junior high boys in the 3200 relay. That team consists of Tavin Castleberry, Kevin Stell, Levi Callahan and Andrew Bates. Castleberry- placed first in the 400 meter run.

The Geary Lady Bison slow pitch team traveled Thursday to Calumet for a double header. The ladies couldn’t bring home the W, losing to host Calumet by a single run, 4-5 and to Carnegie in a 0-13 blowout. The Lady Bison next play on the road at Coyle on Monday at 4 p.m.

The Watonga Eagles varsity had trouble keeping up with Union City Thursday in a 9-0 loss. A single by #23 put Union City on the board in the bottom of the second. UC added to the early lead in the bottom of the third inning after #2 singled and #6 hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. No.

Miller Pushes Watonga Past OCA

Rylan Miller collected three hits in four at bats as Watonga defeated OCA 8-3 Friday. Miller singled in the second, fourth and seventh innings. The Eagles got on the board in the top of the first after KJ Estep singled, Cole Allen walked and Parker Roberts hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Impressive Pitching Beats Coleman

Both teams were strong on the hill Friday, but the Watonga Eagles varsity defeated Coleman 3-0. Rylan Miller started the game for Watonga and recorded 21 outs. Miller struck out 15 batters on the day. They also gave up two hits and zero runs over seven innings while walking three.

The Lady Chieftains faced carnegie first, but were unable to come away with the W, losing 21-7. However, they evened things up by defeating the Geary Lady Bisons next, 5-4. The Lady Chieftains next play Corn Bible Academy on Tuesda at 4:40 p.m.
