Geary schools have announced the homecoming court for the 2023 basketball season. Court is composed of seniors Rosie Pineda, Sarissa Gormley, Paris Littlebird, Leelan Peralta, Nevin Fletcher and Jaiden Woods.

The Board of Education of Calumet Public School District hereby announces that statutorily qualified individuals interested in running as a candidate for the #4 seat on the Calumet Board of Education may file to run as a candidate for this seat at the Canadian County Election Board between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on each of the following days: Monday, December 4 through Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

The Calumet high school basketball teams might look slightly different on Friday night. The Chieftains and Lady Chieftains will be donning new Nike N7 jerseys that feature a turquoise design.

Three Calumet students participated in the SW District American Farmers and Ranchers speech contest in Cache. Merritt Major was named Champion Novice AFR/OFU Division, while Rance Nitzel was the runner-up in the intermediate agribusiness division. Bella Dean placed fifth in the intermediate ag science division.
