The Watonga Lady Eagles hosted 12 fastpitch teams from across the state last week at Huff-Lorang Park for the annual Watonga Festival of preseason scrimmages. The fastpitch season begins on Aug. 9.

Saturday Golf Tourney Raises Funds for Watonga Wrestling

WATONGA – The Watonga Eagles wrestling program held a golf tournament fundraiser at Roman Nose State Park this past Saturday, July 10, drawing a good turnout to help the team with its expenses during the upcoming school year.

Geary will host a wrestling camp July 28 through 31. There is also a mandatory player and parent meeting for the upcoming football season on Friday, Aug. 6. The players meeting begins at 6 p.m., and parents will meet at 7. This will be an opportunity to meet the new coaches and ask questions.
