Okla St. Baseball Season Ends In Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Oklahoma State baseball season came to an end Sunday at the hands of UC Santa Barbara, which beat the Pokes for the second time at the Tucson Regional by a final score of 13-3. UCSB had started the Regional with a 14-4 win over OSU, forcing the Cowboys into the losers’ bracket.

Watonga High School senior Tucker Estep has been named as the recipient of the Doris Lewis Cupp Family Memorial Scholarship for 2021. Estep will receive a $3,000 scholarship award to support his studies at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he plans to study computer science.

The Watonga Masonic Lodge is hosting its Spring Golf Tournament this Saturday, May 22 at the Roman Nose State Park Golf Course. The four-man scramble event will tee off at 9 a.m. Saturday. Entry is $300 per team which includes a cart, green fees and lunch.
